Xiaomi unveils Mi MIX 2S

Long-awaited, the new Chinese flagship boasts a Snapdragon 845 CPU and a dual-camera with AIE technology.

With a design similar to Mi MIX 2, the new Mi MIX 2S brings many new interesting features, starting from the cpu, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 coombined with AIE technology (Artificial Intelligence Engine). Mi MIX 2S is housed in a 7000 series aluminum chassis and is available in Black and White colors. It weighs 189 grams and measures 150.86 x 74.9 x 8.1mm.

Depending on the model, there are 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage for apps and data, expandable via MicroSD. Hardware is powered by a 3.400mAh battery that supports Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging.

The display of the new Chinese flagship is a 18:9 IPS LCD, with a 5.99-inch and a Full-HD+ resolution (2.160×1.080 pixels). Among the flagship features stands out the rear dual-camera, equipped with 12-megapixel sensors, OIS and 2x optical zoom, combined with an 8MP selfie-camera.

Other specifications include Dual-SIM support, Bluetooth 5.0, USB–C, NFC and Wi-Fi Dual Band 802.11ac. Prices on the main international markets: 3,299 yuan (6GB/64GB), 3,599 yuan (6GB/128GB), 3,999 yuan (8GB/256GB). The wireless charging dock is offered at 99 yuan, around 12 euros.
