The company will unveil the new flagship during a livestream event on May 12th

Today Asus will unveil the features of the new and highly anticipated ZenFone 8. From rumors leaked on the Net in recent weeks, ZenFone 8 will be equipped with a 5.92-inch OLED screen with Full-HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor, combined with 8GB/16GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage for apps and data. Two colors are provided: Silver and Black. ZenFone 8 will be powered by a fast charging (30W) 4,000mAh battery. Three cameras: a 12MP selfie camera, a 64MP main camera with Sony IMX686 sensor and a secondary camera with 12MP sensor, equipped with a wide lens and macro mode.

ZenFone 8 will come with Google Android 11 operating system preinstalled, customized with the proprietary ZenUI interface. Expected prices: starting from $850 for the 8GB/128GB version. Stay tuned!
