Sharp launches Aquos R6

The new flagship of the Japanese company boasts a Qualcomm SnapDragon 888 processor and a main camera with 1″ sensor

The new and highly anticipated Aquos R6 is about to be distributed on the main international markets. Sharp Aquos R6 boasts a 6.6-inch OLED Pro IGZO screen with 2K+ resolution (1,260×2,730 pixels), 240Hz refresh rate, 2,000nit brightness and 20.000000: 1 contrast. Under the hood there is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 cpu flanked by 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of internal UFS 3.1 space for apps and data.

But its strong point is certainly the photographic area, developed in collaboration with Leica, which offers a single main camera with a 20MP and 1″CMOS sensor, Leica Summicron lens and f/1,9 aperture. IPX8 certified and with the Google Android 11 operating system on board, Sharp Aquos R6 is also equipped with a 12.6MP front camera, Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max fingerprint sensor, and a 5,000mAh battery with support for the Intelligent Charge 2.0 charging system.
